Asian street food brand, Chi, has officially opened its doors and joined Derbion’s wide-ranging food offering.

After much anticipation, Chi opened on Monday 16th October, offering shoppers the chance to enjoy a jam-packed menu that features signature Asian street food with a modern twist.

Located next to the Food Terrace on Level 2, the grab-and-go style restaurant offers shoppers the chance to taste and discover everything the Orient has to offer. The exciting menu includes bao buns, katsu curry, 12-hour slow cooked beef short rib, Korean fried chicken, gyozas, and more. Several vegan and vegetarian options, and a variety of mouth-watering snacks and sides, are also available on the menu for visitors to enjoy.

Chi is the fourth new eatery to open at Derbion in recent months since over £3.6m was invested into its wide-ranging and vibrant dining offer, including £2m into the refurbishment of its Food Terrace. The refurbishment has introduced a fresh new look, additional seating and new brands – including Popeyes®, Burger & Sauce, Tortilla and rising Mediterranean food brand, Villa Express. Elsewhere within the Food Terrace, one of the world’s largest quick service restaurant brands, Subway, has recently invested in its existing space and unveiled a refreshed look for visitors.

Beth McDonald, Managing Director of Derbion, commented: “We’re delighted to have officially welcomed Chi to Derbion, and to offer our shoppers a new cuisine that is different to all the other restaurants we currently have in centre. We’re committed to bringing a range of dining experiences to our visitors and we’re confident that Chi will be a big hit.”
