CPP has announced the tenancy agreement for steel manufacturers, Purple Fabrications at the Mitchells Enterprise Park in Wombwell, securing a full house of tenants for the multi-let Barnsley estate.

Founded in February 2020, Purple Fabrications, which has committed to a third 1,048sq. ft unit at the Barnsley based Enterprise Park following a period of sudden growth, specialise in all aspects of steelwork, balcony bases, balustrades, parapet brackets, hand and wall rails, structural, machine support frames, hoppers, conveyers, made to measure mezzanine flooring – and more.

The agreement follows a surge in popularity of small units in the South Yorkshire area, currently leaving CPP with very little availability of units in the region.

Commenting on the latest deal, Ed Norris, Director at CPP said: “It is fantastic to see new and start-up businesses adapting and changing to the current market conditions.

“Small warehouse units such as those offered at Mitchells Enterprise Park offer businesses great flexibility, as demonstrated by Purple Fabrications, which is great news for them – and for our local economy.

“As a result, however, they are in high demand, with little if any stock currently available. We are therefore encouraging landlords to get in touch to discuss a great confidence and return for such properties.”

The thriving estate facility at Wombwell comprises a modern industrial estate of 12 units with adjacent servicing and parking areas, and benefits from its proximity to J36 of the M1 – as well as excellent links to Sheffield.

Gary Edwards, Managing Director at Purple Fabrications, said: “The units at Wombwell have given our business a great base and the ability to grow at the location as our business expands.

“We are excited about our future and ongoing success at Mitchells Park Estate.”
