Creative agency Milk & Tweed launches client partner team to aid high-profile customers
Creative agency Milk & Tweed has appointed a new Senior Client Partner to help clients make the most of its expertise.
Meg Fenner-Jamieson, who has been with the Wiltshire and Brighton agency for almost four years, is taking on the role and says it will strengthen the way it works with clients.
“My role essentially will be to be act as an extension of our business within our clients’ teams – almost like their own marketing person,” she said. “I’ll be able to understand their needs and goals and advocate for them here to make sure they get exactly what they need from us.
“My job will be to sit with the client, whether it is an enterprise business or a smaller business, to translate what they need to our various departments and figure out exactly what that brief needs to be to make sure that they’re getting the right service and results.
“We have an incredible amount of knowledge, services and skills within our team – from animation to brand identity, to custom coded website development, to Search Engine Optimisation and much more. You would typically have to go to multiple different agencies to get all of that.”
Creative Director Jake Jeffries said the growth of the agency, and its rising number of larger clients, means it is the right time to introduce the role. “We’re growing and bringing on board more and more clients who are with us for the long term, so it’s right that we focus on account management to make sure we not only match our clients’ needs and expectations, but exceed them,” he said.
“We are bringing on more and more clients like the City Of London, Whitehall Garden Centre, Goughs Solicitors, Mintivo, CoppaFeel, Supporting Education Group and The Junior Premier League – and they are all fantastic and exciting clients, but they need a more in-depth understanding and service that can be better achieved via a single channel to foster clearer communication, stronger deliverables and a focus on growth and results.
“Meg has shown a brilliant grasp of what we can do and has a track record of delivering for our customers and helping them navigate marketing choices. She’s the first of what will be a team and will be excellent in this role, our clients will really benefit.”
Katie Holdoway, Executive Director of client HPH Commercial Property Management, praised the new appointment. “We’re really enjoying working with Milk & Tweed, the team are proactive, easy to work with and have taken the time to understand our priorities from the outset,” she said. “The partnership has felt collaborative from day one, and the breadth of services they offer has made the onboarding process straightforward and well supported.”
Meg, who joined the agency as a Digital Marketing Executive, said she will be stepping away from day-to-day work to focus on client needs, but will be liaising closely with colleagues across all departments. “I will be involved in more briefings with our web, design and marketing teams to make sure what’s being produced meets the clients’ needs,” she said.
“We have to be focused on performance and making sure that we’re delivering the right results for clients, whether that’s website performance, marketing results or brand visuals.”
Another client, Sam Thorpe, Operations Director at cyber security recruitment specialist Intaso in Swindon, said: “We’ve always felt like Milk & Tweed were an extension of our business rather than a company that provides services to us. Meg is highly competent, knowledgeable and professional and I’m thrilled she is our dedicated client partner, as I’m not sure what I’d do without her.”
Meg said she is delighted to be continuing her career development with Milk & Tweed. “I’ve never worked with people who are so ambitious and have the same drive to grow this business, I think that’s evident in just how much the agency has grown,” she said. “When I started there were seven or eight us and there are 20 now.
“It’s easily the most fun place I’ve worked at and this new role shows Milk & Tweed are really good at giving people opportunities to grow and develop. I love the fact we work with such a varied range of clients, from large multi-national companies to local businesses who work right alongside us in the community. This definitely feels like a great next step for me.”
