DNA and epigenetics company launches corporate wellbeing package

Muhdo Health, a big data and analytics company underpinned by epigenetic science, has launched On-Call Doctor, a new service to meet the needs of companies concerned about their employees’ wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

As more people work from home than ever before during lockdown, the health and wellbeing of employees has increasingly become a priority for businesses of all sizes who want to ensure their staff feel supported. On-Call Doctor enables them to access a range of health services via a phone or video call.

On-Call Doctor enables employees to:

  • Consult a GP via Message, Call, or Video Chat
  • Access unlimited, 24/7 contact with experienced GPs, at home, work, whilst travelling or on holiday
  • Obtain private prescriptions for collection from a pharmacy or direct delivery
  • Get open referrals for onward care

Available through the Muhdo Health app, On-Call Doctor sits alongside other key services that Muhdo partners receive, including unlimited assessment and treatment with trained professionals in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, Counselling and CBT, and Nutrition. The Muhdo Health App provides a comprehensive package including DNA and epigenetic analysis to ensure that employees are maintaining good health and wellbeing at home and when they return to the office.

Recent figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) found that as many as 48% of the UK workforce has worked from home since the 23rd March, when government lockdown rules came into force[1]. Therefore, businesses are seeking ways to support staff at a critical time for employees, who are likely to experience mental and physical impacts on their overall health during this time.
