Nathan Cable CEO of Party Hard Travel to introduce Easy Order tech to support businesses post covid

Nathan Cable, CEO of party travel specialist Party Hard Travel is launching a new mobile ordering system called Easy Order to help travel, tourism and hospitality businesses to stay compliant with new regulations post coronavirus.

Cable has worked with Party Hard Travel’s technology company, Licklist, on the innovation for the overseas tourism industry, developing existing UK software for the European market. Whilst Cable will lead Easy Order’s introduction to the overseas market, Licklist will oversee the technology’s ongoing development in the UK market under its Licklist for Business brand, which offers a range of technology services for hospitality companies.

Easy Order has been developed with overseas partners, like bars, clubs, hotels and restaurants, in mind. As well as helping suppliers to meet new requirements for reducing human contact and removing the necessity for queuing at the bar, the technology is also designed to help customers to feel secure in utilising services as resorts begin to open once more.

Following successful trials of the tech, Party Hard Travel are rolling the software out to their partners in the resorts in which they operate, including Kavos, Malia, Ibiza, Magaluf and Zante.

Entrepreneur Nathan Cable worked as a business analyst for British Airways’ loyalty scheme Avios before founding Party Hard Travel alongside fellow Portsmouth University graduate Barry Moore in 2014. Cable was one of TTG’s 30 under 30 for 2016 and was Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 at the Travel and Hospitality Hall of Fame Awards, whilst Party Hard Travel were Travel Network Group’s member of the year for 2017 and took 15,000 clubbers to Europe to experience its events in 2019. Nathan Cable commented:

“We’ve been speaking to a lot of our partners based in Greece and Spain over recent months who have been really worried about the summer ahead and all of the new rules and restrictions in place at their venues. The main issues are how they can take orders from customers safely, and allow customers to feel safe in their venues, whilst avoiding fines.”

“The Easy Order system is a mobile ordering app that is suitable for all hospitality venues. Customers place their food and drink orders from their phone, minimising the direct contact between staff and customers. We were pleased to work with Licklist to develop this existing technology for the overseas market.”

“Venues can upload menus to the Easy Order app, and customers can order and pay using their phone from their table and have it delivered to their table, like with the Wetherspoons app, collect their order from a specific point, like McDonald’s, or delivered to a specific address, like JustEat. There’s also the option for a unique URL or link direct from the venue’s website. These various options make the system a good fit for a range of our partners.”

“We’ll provide bespoke branded POS materials for the venue, with QR codes, directing the customer to the Easy Order app or web page to pay through Easy Order. We are rolling Easy Order out this week to our partners in our resorts, and small businesses in the area, free of charge.”

“Easy Order could be hugely beneficial to venues across Europe as they seek to navigate the new rules, and develop ways of re-opening safely. We need to try and do what we can to save the summer for holidaymakers, but also save the livelihoods of businesses across Europe who are really struggling right now. That means adapting, and adapting quickly.”

Licklist for Business is the b2b arm of Licklist. The Licklist consumer brand provides services for the 18-30 market, a similar demographic to Party Hard Travel. CEO and Co-founder of Licklist, Brad Nobbs, commented:

“Mobile ordering is going to be crucial for all types of hospitality venues to minimise contact between staff and customers. We’ve had mobile ordering for around 14 months now, which has always worked well with our card linked loyalty scheme and is a really intelligent way to capture insightful data.”

“The demand over the last few weeks has really gone through the roof; it is great to see venues preparing so well for re-opening. Licklist have been working with Party Hard Travel for a number of years now, and it’s brilliant to develop our association further as Nathan takes Easy Order to the European market and Licklist for Business extends our mobile ordering technology in the UK market.”
