A big-hearted Bishopbriggs entrepreneur is donating a whopping 80 per cent of the money he makes to help three local charities.

Get Well Gamers, Birth, Baby and Beyond and East Dunbartonshire Foodbank will benefit from a donation from RefermyJobs’ advertising revenue.

RefermyJobs founder Richie Wan has turned job advertising on its head by charging a flat fee of just £250 for every job filled and promptly gives £200 of it away.

Veteran head-hunter Richie said “There are a few strands to RefermyJobs, first to help small business owners to eliminate the risk and cost of advertising their jobs, second to give back to the local community and third to give others the chance to earn money by referring our advertised jobs to their friends and family.

“We are happy to support these local charities as they do some fantastic work in our community.”

Chair of Glasgow-based Get Well Gamers UK Richard Thurbon said: “It is through the kind support of companies such as RefermyJobs that Get Well Gamers can continue its work throughout the UK.

“We have this year received record donations, both in terms of equipment and contributions from companies and the public, through to the amount of gaming equipment we have placed in hospitals.

“This includes one of our largest equipment donations ever to Glasgow Children’s Hospital, and no small part, donations such as this enable our work across the country.”
