Glasgow Marriott gives weekend workers a new way to celebrate Christmas

Workers in hospitality, beauty and other industries where Fridays and Saturdays are among their busiest days of the week can take advantage of Sunday Christmas party nights to celebrate the season with their colleagues this December.

Glasgow Marriott Hotel is hosting two Sunday Christmas party nights on 6 and 13 December with Clyde 1 presenter Cassi, giving teams in industries typically closed on Mondays a festive night out that better fits around their working week.

Fresh from DJing at Hï Ibiza earlier this summer, Cassi returns to Glasgow Marriott after all four of her Christmas party nights sold out in 2025, with this year’s festive residency expanded to 10 dates following its success. Multiple dates are already sold out this December, with guests encouraged to book soon to secure their preferred night.

Guests can enjoy a three-course festive dinner, half a bottle of wine per person and entertainment hosted by Cassi, followed by a resident DJ until late. And better still, Sunday night bookings are priced at only £50 per person.

From hospitality teams working busy weekend services to hairdressers and beauticians whose Saturdays are often packed with appointments, the Sunday dates have been designed to give colleagues another option for getting together over the festive season.

“For many people across Glasgow, the weekend is actually their busiest time at work, so our Sunday nights give those teams the chance to have the same big Christmas celebration without sacrificing one of their key working days.”

Preferential overnight accommodation rates are also available for party guests, subject to availability, including breakfast the following morning.
