Hertfordshire’s Aztek Logistics achieves FORS Gold accreditation for 12th consecutive year

A Hertfordshire haulier has achieved a major accreditation milestone after being awarded FORS Gold status for the 12th year in a row.

The latest award for Letchworth Garden City-based Aztek Logistics puts it among a select group of UK fleet operators which have maintained the scheme’s highest accolade for more than a decade.

Achieving Gold status requires operators to meet exacting requirements and undergo a comprehensive audit process, assessing their operational safety, efficiency and environmental impact.

The FORS Gold standard is reserved for organisations which go above and beyond the minimum requirements and continually invest in improving fleet operations, driver training and vehicle safety systems.

Stuart Charter, founder and managing director of Aztek Logistics, said: “Becoming FORS Gold-accredited even once is a major achievement. Retaining it is equally as tough, so to have extended this streak beyond a decade is a true recognition of consistent excellence and a commitment to the very highest standards.

Aztek, which is a shareholder member of the Wolverhampton-based Pallet-Track network, holds several other key industry accolades, including BRCGS and Organic Food Federation accreditations.

Founded in 2003 with a single vehicle and support from the Prince’s Trust, the business now boasts a total warehousing capacity of 150,000 sq ft and a fleet of more than 40 vehicles.
