Victoria Prentis MP with Scott Harris, Managing Director Dominic Harman, and Barratt Developments' Central Region MD David Hesson

David Wilson Homes has welcomed Victoria Prentis MP to its development in Bicester following the Site Manager’s success in this year’s NHBC Pride in the Job Quality awards.

The visit from Ms Prentis comes after a request to meet with the Site Manager at Hemins Place, Scott Harris, after receiving his first Pride in the Job Quality award with David Wilson Homes. She was also greeted by the Sales Adviser and site team at the development.

Victoria Prentis, MP for North Oxfordshire, said: “I was really pleased to meet Site Manager Scott Harris to congratulate him on his recent award. It is a fantastic achievement.”

“During my visit I was given a tour of The Chelworth and The Avondale show homes which I really enjoyed. It was good to see first-hand the level of skill and workmanship that goes into creating a new development.”

Ms Prentis was given a tour of the development that is currently being established in Kingsmere, with the opportunity to see the high quality homes that are being put together by Scott and his team at various stages throughout the build process.

As well as Scott and his team, Ms Prentis also had the opportunity to meet with the Managing Director of David Wilson Homes Mercia, Dominic Harman, and the Regional Managing Director of Barratt Developments’ Central Region, David Hesson, to discuss the new community that is being built in her constituency.

In total Barratt Developments Site Managers won 93 Pride in the Job Quality awards this year. This is the 17th year in a row that parent company Barratt Developments has won more Pride in the Job Quality awards than any other homebuilder, showing its long-term commitment to building high quality homes.

Dominic Harman, Managing Director of David Wilson Homes Mercia, said: “We were delighted to welcome Victoria Prentis to our site to meet with our award winning Site Manager, Scott Harris and his team.

The visit was a great opportunity for us to show her first hand the work that goes into creating a development such as Hemins Place, and the community that is being established at our development in her constituency.”

Hemins Place offers a range of two, three and four bedroom, traditionally designed, homes. The development is a wonderful destination for families to call home with an abundance of space and nature to explore, alongside foliage and wildflowers around the development allowing residents to relax and enjoy a slower pace of life.
