Provide Community 2023 Education Awards Recipients

Health and social care organisation Provide Community has celebrated its most successful Learning and Development Week to date, with a week of events attended by more than 1400 of its colleagues across the UK.

The annual event opened with a keynote presentation from writer, activist and motivational speaker, Katie Piper, who shared her experiences in a session named ‘When Your Life Turns Upside Down.’ In a moving and inspirational session, Katie talked about the key to happiness and her positive attitude to overcoming even seemingly insurmountable challenges.

Over the course of the week, Provide Community colleagues took part in a wide range of events and activities, including personal development, workplace skills, team events and practical workshops. The annual event is themed as an opportunity to network with colleagues, learn new skills and boost career opportunities.

The organisation also celebrated its learners in its annual Education Awards, with a champagne afternoon tea to recognise employees who have successfully completed a range of sponsored studies from nursing and care qualifications to security, leadership programmes and professional coaching accreditations.   Provide Group Chief Commercial Officer Vicky Waldon said: We should never underestimate the time and hard work it takes to achieve these qualifications. What we need in our organisation is people who have the time, energy, and commitment to do those specialist qualifications; we will continue to support them.”
