Leading North West commercial law firm Napthens has promoted experienced wills and estate planning solicitor Victoria Cross to Senior Associate at its growing Fylde Coast office.

Having joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 2011, Victoria is a specialist in wills & estate planning, regularly advising business owners and high net worth individuals on making and reviewing wills, inheritance tax issues, and trust and estate planning matters. This also includes the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney, the registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney and the management of elderly clients’ general affairs.

The news follows a relocation for the firm’s Fylde Coast offering, after it moved from Whitehills Business Park in Blackpool to Jubilee House in Lytham St Annes in 2020. The office boasts a residential conveyancing team of six  lawyers headed by senior associate Sally Calvert, with experienced conveyancing solicitor Edward White joining the team in January 2022.

Other senior figures on the Fylde Coast include head of Napthens’ family department Helen Lucking and experienced commercial property partner Martin Long, who heads up the office. Alongside his role at Napthens, he is chair of the Blackpool Business Leadership Group and chair of local children’s charity Wooden Spoon Lancashire. He is also an active member of both the Fylde Coast Responsible Business Network Steering Group and the Blackpool & the Fylde College Board.
