This week the Lord Mayor of Bradford officially opened The Spindles, a brand-new retirement community in Menston near Ilkley in West Yorkshire.
The grand opening of Adlington Retirement Living’s 72 stylish age-exclusive apartments, on Bradford Road, was celebrated with a sparkling reception in the beautifully appointed restaurant and lounge.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Gerry Barker, who joined new homeowners, potential purchasers and the on-site team to mark the occasion, commented: “I thoroughly enjoyed meeting some of the new homeowners who have moved into The Spindles since it opened its doors in May. There’s already a real sense of community and a buzz about the place with plenty of social occasions and activities taking place. I was really impressed with the cinema, the restaurant, the coffee lounge and the landscaped gardens, as well as the beautiful apartments.”
