Mini Mason tries out dream job for size with Caddick Construction

Digger-mad Mason Knott was given the opportunity to try out his dream job by Caddick Construction.

The three year old was given a personal tour of the Wakefield 515 development at Trinity Farm in Knottingley before having the chance to sit in the digger and watch it in action.

The socially distanced visit saw the team prepare the site in accordance with Government Guidelines as part of their local community initiatives. Richard Miller, senior site manager at Caddick Construction said: “It’s important to capture the imagination of our future construction workforce and today’s visit proved you are never too young to start. Mason thoroughly enjoyed his visit and will hopefully be keen to work in the sector in many years to come.”

Caddick Construction started work on this 512,820 sq ft speculative warehouse development this summer completing the steel work last month. When it completes in spring next year, Wakefield 515 is set to support up to 500 full-time jobs and generate £5.5m for the regional economy through employment alone.
