Robyn Lodge Management Accountant at Russell Roof Tiles

Leading pitched roof tile manufacturer, Russell Roof Tiles, has welcome a new addition to the team, in a new role.

Robyn Lodge, 30, a Keele University graduate, has joined Russell Roof Tiles as Management Accountant at its Burton HQ. She joined after gaining experience at international manufacturer, Doncasters Group Limited as Group Finance Analyst.

Russell Roof Tiles is the largest independent manufacturer of concrete derivatives in the UK pitched roofing market and employs 140 staff across its three sites (two in Burton) and Lochmaben, Scotland and is keen to support local talent with ongoing professional development.

The brand-new Management Accountant role will be important in supporting the business and has been created to enable the Finance Director, Araminta Chesters, to focus on other pivotal areas of the business.

Robyn’s main responsibility is to prepare the accounts for Russell Roof Tiles and support the senior management team. Since joining, Robyn has already completed several specialist courses, including hands-on product training.

Robyn said: “I was eager for a new challenge in my career and what drew me to Russell Roof Tiles was the great company values regarding the environment and the local community in particular – I’ve since seen first-hand that it’s great reputation is well earned. I was also impressed with the interview process and knew fairly quickly I’d fit in well with the team.

Robyn is the latest in a long line of employees who have benefited from investment and training, as many in the team have gone on to enjoy successful careers at Russell Roof Tiles.
