Numagoo, a digital marketing agency from Manchester, have been the digital partner powering the success behind the Burrow Seven fundraising campaign, which is raising money for Rugby League legend Rob Burrow and charity the MND Association. The campaign has gained widespread global media coverage when it launched last month, and is being supported by Sky Sports and a host of high profile ambassadors.
As digital partner, Numagoo created the Burrow Seven brand, designed and built the campaign website, will oversee the paid social activity, email marketing and created all digital and print assets including the welcome packs. The campaign aims to raise awareness about motor neurone disease (MND) and encourage people to become a member of the Burrow Seven Racing Club.
In just over a month the campaign has attracted thousands of members from as far afield as China, Australia, Korea and the USA. The team behind the fundraising campaign, which is led by Phil Hawthorne, has already handed over the first of many large donations to the MND Association, and hopes to share more in the coming months.
Membership to the Burrow Seven Racing Club will last until November 2021. Numagoo will oversee the CRM campaign that will provide regular updates about the Burrow Seven’s performance and upcoming fixtures, including videos of the horse in training on the gallops in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, so they can observe his form. They will also receive news about progress being made in the field of MND research.
As a fast-turnaround concept, the work was briefed just two weeks ago and delivered in just six days, pulling out all the stops to support the campaign.
