Organisation supporting wellbeing expands its team

A company supporting businesses with science-based solutions in therapy, training and leadership development has expanded its team.

Former client Caroline Brown has joined The Better Brain Company as a strategy and operations partner – to bring their services to a wider audience.

The firm helps create healthier, happier and high performing workplaces – leading to greater productivity and profitability.

Caroline, who holds a law degree and has worked in local government and HR, said: “Together we’re building a new kind of wellbeing and personal development service, which I know from experience gets results – and fast.”

Clarity

Caroline first approached founder Abi Rogers, who is qualified in several neuroscience and psychology based therapeutic practices, for support after she set up her own business.

Caroline, who ran a virtual assistant firm, said: “I wanted to build my reputation and grow the business – but there was always something holding me back.

“I tended to overthink, worried about what people thought of me and was prone to perfectionism. Working with Abi led me to become calmer, as well as more confident and decisive.

“I then attracted my ideal client, whose values aligned, and was much more productive. I was able to run a smoother, more profitable business.”

She had experienced bullying in the workplace which contributed to struggles with high functioning anxiety and left her burnt out.  But matters came to a head when she was aged 30 and her dad died from brain cancer.

Confidence

She said: “The bullying had destroyed my confidence and my life had become all about work. I sacrificed my mental and physical health for my career. My dad’s death put things into focus and I knew something had to change.”

Working with Abi gave her the strength to make changes in her life, including starting her own business.

And now Caroline is more comfortable speaking out if treated badly, calmer dealing with high-pressure situations and regularly sets challenges outside her comfort zone.

Caroline, who has mentored teenage students and volunteered as an emergency responder helping in the aftermath of traumatic events, wants to help others thrive.

She said: “I’m mentally and physically in the best shape I’ve ever been. I’ve seen how The Better Brain Company’s support can develop healthier, happier individuals and organisations and I am excited to help shape and scale its growth.”

Growth

Abi is trained in solution-focused hypnotherapy, which looks at desired future outcomes rather than dwelling on past problems.

She now uses this as part of her SHIFT™️ programme – a blend of performance psychology and mindset reprogramming – to unlock potential in driven professionals.

Abi, who is also an advanced practitioner in Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT), a cutting-edge approach to deal with trauma or negative emotions, said: “It’s great to have Caroline onboard in our support of business leaders and busy professionals.

“Positivity spreads. It doesn’t just benefit the individual, but their relationships, working environment and overall productivity.”
