RFB Legal Celebrates 10 Years in Manchester as Firm Targets Next Generation of Northern Talent

Nationwide firm RFB Legal has marked a major anniversary for its Manchester operations with a renewed call to recruit diverse legal talent from the region.

The firm established its offices at 111 Piccadilly, Manchester in June 2016, and has grown the business from just 3 to 23 staff in the region in the decade since. RFB Legal’s Manchester offices generated turnover of £1.9m in 2025/26.

The 10-year mark comes amid strong growth for RFB’s nationwide operations. Its most recent financial results showed an operating profit of £4.63 million in 2025 – more than double the previous year –and £14.74 million in turnover.

Specialising in a full range of modern legal services, spanning property, litigation, employment, immigration and beyond, RFB Legal has become a familiar name in Manchester’s thriving legal scene, and now has its eyes on attracting a new generation of legal minds in the north.

The firm celebrated its Mancunian milestone year with an event at the city’s iconic Beetham Tower, where partners paid tribute to the achievements made since 2016.

Away from Manchester, RFB Legal continues to grow. The firm’s partners recently purchased brand new 14,277 sq ft premises in Holborn, London, and there are plans to grow its nationwide staff base by 20% in the next 12 months, targeting annual turnover of £30 million by 2030.

Founded in 1948 by Ronald Fletcher and Benjamin Baker, RFB Legal has evolved from a traditional high-street firm into a nationwide commercial practice, with significant acceleration in the last five years.
