Work has begun on site at Redrow Midlands' Curborough Lakes

A local housebuilder has begun work ahead of 468 new homes being built at an exciting new development near Lichfield.

Redrow Midlands has officially started work on its brand-new 107-acre development, Curborough Lakes, on Watery Lane in Curborough.

Two, three, four and five-bedroom properties will be available from Redrow’s award-winning Heritage Collection, which sees architecture inspired by the arts and crafts era coupled with contemporary high-spec interiors. Promising modern living spaces rich with character, many of the homes will feature large open-plan living areas and elegant design details.

As part of Redrow’s focus on building responsibly, Curborough Lakes will also feature plenty of green open spaces, with funds being invested in habitat enhancement. The development will also benefit from a new primary school, making it perfect for families, as well as a mix of boutique shops and cafes.

Elaine Cartwright, Sales Director for Redrow Midlands, said: “It is an exciting moment for us all as we break ground on our newest site, Curborough Lakes.

“The development has wonderful amenities nearby in the village, while also benefitting from being close to Lichfield centre, making it the perfect location for those looking to live in a thriving community that offers the best of both town and country living.

“We expect these homes will be very popular, so would advise anyone looking to move to the area to register their interest sooner rather than later.”

Located just three miles from small town of Lichfield, and with key travel routes within easy reach including to Birmingham and fast trains to London, Curborough Lakes will offer village surroundings combined with a well-connected location, making it perfectly placed for first-time buyers, growing families and commuters alike.
