Socomec Group Ramps up Focus on Ireland With New Strategic Hire

New Specification Engineer to help Irish organisations boost power performance and sustainability

Socomec Group, a specialist manufacturer of low voltage power management solutions, has announced the appointment of Declan Caulfield in the newly created post of Specification Engineer for Ireland. Caulfield will be responsible for helping data centre operators and other Irish-based organisations boost the safety and performance of their power infrastructures, optimising usage whilst prioritising reliability.

Caulfield joins Socomec with 25 years of experience in the electrical industry, most recently in senior positions at Winthrop Technologies and Vertiv. In this new role, he will enable Socomec’s Irish-based customers – which include data centres, manufacturers, and other organisations with critical power needs – to benefit from the company’s power conversion, switching, storage, and monitoring solutions.
