The SPARBAR® legends: Announcing world-renowned stunt coordinator John Street as Technical Advisor

SPARBAR®, the original pioneer of SPARBAR® boxing, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and fitness equipment, is excited to introduce John Street as part of its international, renowned committee of Board Advisors.

John Street has worked on the movie sets of some of the highest-grossing action movies of all times. In a two decade spanning career, he has won 3 SAG awards and has been nominated for three others. SPARBAR® is proud to announce Street as Technical Advisor, and to become part of his journey of preparing legendary fight and action movie scenes.

Street has worked everywhere from Hollywood to Bollywood, including on five of Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed pictures. Amongst others he has trained Harry Styles (Dunkirk), Anne Hathaway (Dark Knight Rises), and Joseph Gordon Levitt (Inception).

Street got in contact with the SPARBAR® fitness equipment while preparing action and fight trainings for actors. “I’m excited to incorporate the SPARBAR® products into more trainings, since these are skill-based tools,“ says Street. London-based founder Jasvinder “Jazz” Gill adds: “John has set up celebrated action scenes such as the zero gravity fight in the movie Inception. We were thrilled when we found out he uses SPARBAR®, and we consulted him for his feedback in training.“

Street: “The SPARBAR® Pro device was initially created as a sparring partner for boxing and MMA. For Martial Arts training, I started using extensions on the device.“ The stunt coordinator and fight choreographer started boxing at the age of 9, and has a deep passion for all sorts of Martial Arts, which he has made a remarkable career of.

Jazz: “Our goal was to have a simple, but smart and intuitive combat training device, accessible to anyone no matter the fitness level.
