Thinventory Announces New Network of Pick-Up and Drop-Off locations
Software and supply chain management specialist Thinventory has announced the development of a brand-new network of Pick-Up and Drop-Off (PUDO) locations to complement its existing smart locker network.
The service, called PUDO+, will leverage Thinventory’s robust distribution infrastructure to provide customers with greater flexibility, without compromising on reliability or operational efficiency.
The PUDO+ service will extend Thinventory’s network, which already includes more than 1,500 locker locations, by adding manned handover points. This gives customers greater flexibility to mix collection points based on stock type, engineer requirements, or specific project needs.
Businesses and their engineers using PUDO+ will continue to benefit from the full suite of Thinventory services including comprehensive end-to-end parts tracking, productivity-enhancing tools like the Thinventory Mobile app, and a broad range of solutions designed to tackle supply chain challenges.
The new PUDO+ network will also support oversized parts that may not fit in standard locker, while continuing to maintain high service levels.
Thinventory has an average on-time delivery performance of 99.7% across its existing network, a standard the company expects to maintain with the addition of PUDO+.
The PUDO+ network is available now and customers can register their interest with their Thinventory Account Manager.
Thinventory CEO Dave Wilson said: “PUDO+ is an evolution of our trusted network, giving customers more options and greater flexibility.
“The introduction of PUDO+ empowers customers to choose the collection point that works best for them, blending options effortlessly to create a stronger, more adaptable service that meets every customer need.”
