Thornton & Lowe acquires Bidding Ltd to create the UK’s largest dedicated Bid Writing Consultancy

North West-based bid and tender specialist Thornton & Lowe has acquired Bidding Ltd’s bid and tender management consultancy, creating the UK’s largest dedicated bid writing consultancy, with a team of around 60 employees focused solely on helping organisations win more work.

Founded in 2009, Thornton & Lowe has grown organically to 50 staff, supporting SMEs, housing providers, construction firms and service providers across the UK with bid writing, bid management and wider growth services.

The acquisition of Wakefield-based Bidding Ltd adds 14 experienced bid specialists, the well-established HealthBid and AM Bid brands, and a leading health and social care-focused bid team. Bringing these three well-known bid consultancies together under the Thornton & Lowe umbrella creates one of the UK’s most experienced, work-winning teams for SMEs and other growing organisations.

Financial terms of the deal are undisclosed.
