Addition of new senior leadership to further propel company’s market share and expansion

Building on its extensive growth phase, Uberall, the leading provider of ‘Near Me’ Customer Experience (NMCX) marketing solutions, today announced the appointment of two experienced, top level leaders to leverage Uberall’s global strategy. Veronika Gorkina will be driving Go to Market operations strategy as the new Vice President GTM Strategy & Operations, and Laurence Capdeville will focus on taking Uberall’s already strong customer success programme to the next level as Vice President of Customer Success.

Following another successful quarter that included raising $115 million in Series C funding, global SaaS company Uberall has created these key positions to further strengthen Go to Market Operations and customer success.

Veronika has more than 10 years of operational management experience. She was previously at Media Math, an ad-tech firm, and Forter, an e-commerce fraud prevention company, which achieved unicorn status last fall with a valuation of $3 billion. As one of Forter’s first employees, Veronika helped double revenue in less than a year, building the global operation team from scratch, and helping to scale the company.

As VP GTM Strategy & Operations, Veronika will ensure Uberall’s go-to market teams are fully equipped with the tools, processes and intelligence they need for market success and expansion, and work closely with other departments to execute Uberall’s GTM strategy.

“Two things brought me to Uberall and both are a big part of why I’m so thrilled to be part of the team. First, Uberall has an excellent product, as well as the creativity and technical insight to continue to develop it in new ways. Second, it’s the people! We live by a “people first” mantra, and it motivates our teams and drives our strategy forward” said Veronika, VP of GTM Strategy & Operations. “Our dedicated team, combined with a clear plan of action, is the perfect formula for Uberall’s continued success.”

Newly appointed VP of Customer Success, Laurence Capdeville, has 15-years experience with seven of them in the finance industry, having worked at Citigroup Inc., an American multinational investment bank. A highly experienced, London-based tech leader, Laurence transitioned to the tech space in 2012, and has worked with client-facing teams at ad tech company, AppNexus (now Xander, valued at $1.6bn) as Director, Product Solutions & Professional Services, and most recently as the Global Head of Customer Success at Via, a unicorn in the mobility space, valued at $2.25bn after its latest funding round in March.

Within Uberall, Laurence will drive two main objectives – providing the best ‘Near Me’ Customer Experience through its SaaS platform, and building robust and mutually rewarding partnerships with its global customers. Laurence’s mission is to help Uberall’s customers to create connections with consumers searching for information about them online, while also developing the most positive customer partnerships in the business.

“Uberall’s solution works with all types of business on a global level, and I am looking forward to leveraging the diversity we have in our business, and our expertise in different industries, to make sure that we always start with the customer and focus on their needs,” said Laurence. “I’m truly sensitive about how people are thinking about post-pandemic shopping, and thanks to Uberall’s platform, we are able to share the best feedback loop there is – direct data on consumer interactions with our customers – to help gain vital consumer insights.”

“Uberall has gained increasing momentum over the past year, which has helped us attract more and more people like Veronika and Laurence,” said Florian, CEO and Co-founder of Uberall. “I’m excited to welcome them and know their contributions will further accelerate our strategy.”
