A renewables business that has seen demand for its clean and sustainable energy solutions increase rapidly has officially opened its brand-new showroom.

Legendary Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Steve Bull was the guest of honour at Neal Energy Solutions on Friday, cutting the ribbon on the company’s facility on the Stafford Road.

The former England forward also networked and signed autographs for guests, praising the brother and sister team of Shawn and Samantha Hogan for investing in a physical presence that would make them stand out from rivals.

More than £20,000 has been invested into kitting out the showroom with a host of solar panels, EV charging points and air source heat pumps that are suitable for both domestic and commercial applications.

Technical experts will be on hand to talk customers through product features and the latest innovations, with the back office also acting as the logistical hub for planning what is often 50 plus installations every week.

“Sales have increased 200% since this time last year and the next logical step was establishing a base where we can show existing and potential customers the latest technology coming on to the market,” explained Shawn.

“The showroom has been a real labour of love and we were delighted that one of Wolverhampton’s most famous players could declare it officially open.”

He continued: “Steve Bull was a massive hero of mine since I used to watch him score countless goals at Molineux, so it was superb to have him on hand for such a milestone moment for our business.”

Accredited to the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and Home Insulation & Energy Systems (HIES), Neal Energy Solutions is approved to deliver the eco4Scheme, a programme designed to address fuel poverty and promote energy efficiency in households.

This gives homeowners access to funding to fit energy-efficient measures, such as insulation, heating upgrades and renewable energy installations.

Samantha Hogan, Commercial Director, concluded: “We wanted to say thank you to our staff, business partners and our loyal customer base and the event last week was a perfect celebration – despite the weather having other ideas.

“Going forward, our showroom will give us lots of space to showcase brands and products and that will help guide the conversation with the customer, giving them the immersive opportunity to compare models side by side.

“This move will hopefully reinforce our position as one of the West Midlands’ leading renewable solutions specialists.”
