Walsall Health Clinic to Enhance Treatment Space with £3,000 Grant
A Walsall-based holistic health clinic is set to improve its facilities and online services after securing a £3,000 grant from Walsall Business Support.
Hands On Health Clinic, led by directors Gemma Phipps and Frances Phipps, has been operating for 12 years and has grown from its roots in chiropractic care into a fully serviced holistic health clinic.
The business was founded after Gemma, a qualified chiropractor since 2008, built up experience working across the Midlands before establishing her own clinic in Walsall after a maternity cover role at Walsall Chiropractic Clinic sparked her long-term connection to the area.
The clinic provides a wide range of holistic and therapeutic services including chiropractic care, acupuncture, electroacupuncture, medical laser treatment, sports and holistic massage, applied kinesiology, cupping and counselling therapies.
The business supports a broad patient base, treating people of all ages from young children through to patients in their nineties, and helps with a wide variety of conditions including back and joint pain, sports injuries, headaches, arthritis, anxiety and stress related issues.
The grant will be used to improve and expand the clinic space, including the creation of a new treatment room, and upgrades such as new flooring and wall panelling. Part of the investment will also go towards redesigning the clinic’s website to make it more streamlined, user friendly and to introduce online booking functionality.
Gemma Phipps, Co-Director of Hands On Health Clinic, said: “We are really pleased to receive this support from Walsall Business Support. It will allow us to improve both our clinic environment and our online presence, which is so important for our patients.
“The new treatment space and updated website will help us continue to grow while maintaining the high standard of care we are known for. The support we’ve received has been excellent throughout.”
Led by leading business figures to distribute funds collected from the legacy of Walsall Chamber of Commerce, Walsall Business Support funds projects to enhance the borough’s economy.
Walsall Business Support board member, John Punch, said: “We are delighted to support Hands On Health Clinic as they invest in both their facilities and digital services. Their commitment to holistic care and wellbeing makes them a valuable part of the local health and wellbeing offer in Walsall.”
Looking ahead, the clinic aims to purchase its current premises in the future and continue developing its mentoring work with newly qualified practitioners. There are also ambitions to expand further by opening a second site to support continued growth.
