Six Site Managers from Barratt Developments Yorkshire West have won a top national award for the quality of the homes they are building.

David Kirkby from Salter’s Brook, Dave Beck from Momentum, Andy Briddock from Scotgate Ridge, Josh Corker from Oughtibridge Valley, Matthew Hartley from The Bridleways and Mike McNamara from Ambler’s Meadow have won these prestigious awards, marking them down as among the very best in the country.

In total this year, Barratt and David Wilson Homes Site Managers have won 96 Pride in the Job Quality Awards, which is more than any other housebuilder. This is the 19th year in a row that Site Managers from Barratt Developments have won more of these awards than any other housebuilder. This achievement underlines just how dedicated the Homebuilder is to building high quality homes and its long-term commitment to being the best in the industry.

The awards rate Site Managers against key criteria such as technical expertise, health and safety, consistency, leadership and attention to detail and celebrate the vital role they play in ensuring new homes are delivered on-time and to the highest quality.

Every Site Manager who is registered with the NHBC is automatically entered into the awards, with just 450 winners being selected from over 11,000 entrants.

These awards follow on from Barratt Site Manager Kirk Raine being named as the Supreme winner of last year’s NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Awards. In January Kirk was named as the Supreme winner in the Large Builder Category for his work managing The Grove at Doseley Park, near Telford. This is the sixth time that a Barratt Site Manager has won the Supreme award in the past eight years.

Gavin Birch, Managing Director at Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, said: “It is great news for our customers and the business that our Site Managers have won a prestigious Pride in the Job Quality Award. The awards showcase what it takes to be a top Site Manager and demonstrate our long-term commitment to looking after our customers and building high quality homes. We are very proud to have won more of these awards than any other housebuilder for 19 years in a row now.”
