Fantastic Services expands core services as business booms with record bookings

Domestic service provider, Fantastic Services have today launched their new mobile car valet, landlord maintenance and mobile spa services, after experiencing record levels of demand through the first quarter of 2021, following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions across the UK.

The leading franchise company – who were recently named in the Franchise Direct Top 100; ahead of giants such as Subway, Burger King and Starbucks – already offer cleaning, gardening, landscaping, pest control, handyman, locksmith, removals, building and anti-viral sanitisation services across their national network – and have recently issued £1m worth of grants to new franchisees to help drive their continued expansion.

Co-Founder of Fantastic Services, Rune Sovndahl – who established the business in 2009 – says, “Since restrictions lifted in March, demand for domestic services has dramatically increased to a level where we have surpassed our record number of daily bookings since we started over a decade ago.”

He continues, “There’s no doubt demand is outstripping supply, with increases of up to 157% in some verticals – so we have acted quickly to not only grow our core franchises through offering grants, but to add three new services to our portfolio – which is something we are incredibly excited by.”

The professional car valet and mobile spa services will be offered in London initially, where demand is expected to be high, before expanding into other areas of the country at a later date.

The landlord maintenance plan will be available nationally and includes a gas safety check and certification, free annual boiler service and unlimited call outs, with a guarantee of 90% of call outs completed within 24 hours of the initial enquiry.

Anton Skarlatov, fellow Co-Founder of Fantastic Services says, “There’s no doubt 2020 proved to be a challenging time for everyone, but we are experiencing first-hand a boom in bookings now the world is edging back towards pre-pandemic routines – and with more restrictions still to be lifted, we are excited to see the confidence coming back to consumers, which can only be a good sign for the economy, employment and public wellbeing.”

Rune continues, “We’ve always reinvested our profits back into the business to provide better services, better training and better systems and we are thrilled to be continuing expansion through this expansion of traditional services and new consumer areas like our mobile massage and spa treatments. It’s perhaps the most exciting time to be in domestic services franchising since we first launched the business 12 years ago.”
