Leading regional law firm Gardner Leader has received a host of top tier accolades, while retaining five special mentions, in this year’s prestigious Legal 500 guide, the industry’s leading directory to the best law firms in the country.

Highlighted for its ‘collaborative, strategically minded’ approach, ‘punching above its weight’ and its ‘capability to go up against the big city firms’, Gardner Leader has been awarded recommendations in 12 practice areas. These include Corporate and Commercial, Commercial Litigation, Employment, Commercial Property and Property Litigation, Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Charities and not-for-profit, Family, and Contentious Trust and Probate. It also retained its top tier ranking for its Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate Private Client work.

Twenty-one members of the team also received individual recognition, with five of its solicitors retaining special mentions from last year’s guide. These include Real Estate Senior Associate, Tim Blackman, who has been named as a ‘Rising Star’ for a second year running, and Partner in the Wills, Probate and Estate Planning Team, Niamh Minihane, who has been recognised for a third year as a ‘Next Generation Partner’. Those also retaining their individual recognitions include Partners, Christopher Felton, Alastair Goggins and Michelle Di Gioia, all of whom have been described as ‘Leading Individuals’ in their practice areas.

For 34 years the Legal 500 has been analysing the capabilities of law firms across the UK, as well as rating and recommending the best performing firms and solicitors across their legal services.
