Inco marks second Welsh birthday with two landmark project awards

A fast-growing nationwide refurbishment specialist is toasting its second ‘Welsh’ birthday in style after sealing two of its biggest contracts to date.

Inco Contracts has been appointed to deliver the major refurbishment of the former MCC Building in Cwmbran and the redevelopment of Units 2-6 at The Beeches in Bristol.

The latter involves the comprehensive enhancement and modernisation of the existing units to high EPC and commercial standards, including a full roof replacement, new windows and roller shutter doors, installation of full-height composite cladding, and the complete refurbishment of office spaces, kitchens and restroom facilities.

These two milestone deals cap an exciting two years for its Cardiff-based operation and take the total value of projects secured to over £8m.

“It has been an excellent first two years for our Welsh and South West office,” explained Adam Bidhendy, Regional Director.

“There are lots of challenges when you move into a new area, but we knew if we applied the Inco blueprint – build local relationships, invest in people and develop a strategic network of specialists – we could be successful in the region.”

He continued: “And that’s exactly what we’ve done. We put down a local base at St Mellons in Cardiff, delivered the first few projects safely, on time and to budget and slowly started expanding our team.

“The two latest contracts in Cwmbran and Bristol highlight how far we have come, and the trust organisations are placing in us. These are both complex projects that require supply chain flexibility, something we genuinely excel in to ensure jobs are handed over ahead of deadline.”

Inco Contracts, which also has offices in Cannock, Warrington, Glasgow and Stevenage, completes hundreds of commercial and industrial projects across the UK every year.

These tend to be turnkey in nature and involve the company working alongside architects, designers, and landlords to bring warehouse, educational establishments and office space back to life or to the required modern-day standards.

Services include full refurbishment and fit-out of commercial buildings, delivering comprehensive solutions across a wide range of project requirements. Its expertise covers strip-out and demolition, industrial roofing and cladding, dilapidation works, mechanical and electrical building services installations, as well as specialist heritage and conservation projects.

Inco Contracts’ Wales & West office has maintained an outstanding health and safety record throughout its first two years, achieving zero reportable accidents on the projects it has completed.
