Leading insurance broker Russell Scanlan has welcomed back Rob Wood, who has returned to the business as Senior Accounts Handler after five and a half years working another insurance business. The appointment comes at a time when the company is building new business partnerships and extending its service offerings across all its operating sectors.
Rob re-joins the firm, based at Wellington Circus in Nottingham City Centre, following more than 33 years in experience working for a variety of clients from small start-ups to big national corporations. His adaptability and experience in managing clients across a variety of sectors positions him well for the role, where he can help strengthen the company’s client relationships, while growing the expertise of the team.
On his return to the Nottingham heritage business, Rob said: “It’s great to be back at Russell Scanlan, working with such a good-natured and knowledgeable team. My five and a half years away from the firm has allowed me to increase my versatility — particularly on bigger accounts — and develop my skillset when delivering quality for clients.
“As Senior Accounts Handler, my primary role is to liaise daily with our clients, negotiating renewal terms and dealing with challenging enquiries. I’m really looking forward to applying the knowledge I have nurtured throughout my career to strengthen the team and drive the business forward.”
