Tamaris Roberts

UniHomes, the UK’s leading student accommodation search platform, has appointed Tamaris Roberts as People and Culture Manager to create the best employment experience for staff whilst taking lead on recruitment and people strategies for the Sheffield based business.

Tamaris brings with her over 20 years experience in the HR sector, including working for an events company, a recruitment agency, and a creative agency in a range of different roles from HR Operations Manager to Project Management. Originally from Durham, Tamaris has had huge achievements in her previous roles, such as being voted as one of the top 25 best places to work by Campaign Magazine three years in a row, implementing Mental Health First Aid Training along with the support and guidance that offers and rolling out a suite of cultural and wellbeing activities for her team.

In her new role at UniHomes, Tamaris will work with the senior leadership team to promote and enhance career development and take the lead on recruitment and people strategies, whilst working to create the best employment experience for all staff, putting employee satisfaction at the forefront and becoming an employer of choice.

With an Undergraduate degree from Sheffield Hallam University, Tamaris is familiar with the student-friendly city and will be joining a leading UK student accommodation platform which helps students across Sheffield and the country find their dream home for the duration of their studies.


Tamaris will be completing day to day HR tasks such as creating contracts, handbooks, new policies and procedures, whilst delivering training to maximise career development for all UniHomes employees to create a healthy and positive workplace.
