The Sales Adviser and Assistant Site Manager at Romans Green with hampers from Bowes Dairy

Lancashire developer Barratt Homes has unlocked the doors to the brand new show homes at its latest development in Preston.

Buyers that had previously reserved a home at the Romans Green community were invited to an exclusive viewing ahead of the doors being opened to the general public, with a chance to envision what their future home might look like.

The occasion was also marked with a number of hampers from local business, Bowes Dairy. Visitors that reserved a home following the opening were treated to a hamper filled with locally sourced luxury goods, including gourmet cheeses, chutneys, crackers and biscuits for those with a sweet tooth.

The three bedroom Norbury and four bedroom Kingsley style show homes are now available to view by appointment at the development on Lightfoot Lane.

Barratt Homes has also recently introduced 5% deposit boost for NHS workers looking to reserve their future home at Romans Green. The deposit contribution of up to £15,000 and relevant eligibility criteria can be discussed with a Sales Adviser during an appointment at the development.

Philippa Stewart, Head of Sales at Barratt Homes North West, said: “We are very pleased to welcome buyers into our show homes by appointment at Romans Green. Their open doors mean that visitors to the development have the opportunity to take a look around two of our popular houses and imagine themselves in what could be their future home.

“Visitors to site during our opening weekend received hampers filled with locally sourced items from Preston based business Bowes Dairy. As the UK’s leading housebuilder, it is extremely important that we support the communities in which we build and encourage others to do the same.”

Romans Green is located on Lightfoot Lane and has access to two outstanding schools to support families with young children with an idea of settling down at the development. Residents will also be able to benefit from the brand new retail park and gym just a short distance away.

One of the main appeals of the growing community is its location, as it’s set just outside the city whilst being surrounded by the countryside. Residents living at the development will benefit from excellent travel links to the M55 and M6, whilst still having all of the essentials on their doorstep.
