Siren Grounds Invited to Pitch for International Trade Opportunities and Attend Downing Street Export Celebration

SAMANAH DURAN, SIREN GROUNDS FOUNDER

Siren Grounds, the premium coffee brand founded by entrepreneur Samanah Duran, has been selected to participate in the prestigious Great British Pitch initiative, hosted by Small Business Britain in partnership with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), and has subsequently been invited to Downing Street to celebrate the achievements of British exporters and the future of UK international trade.

The invitation marks a significant milestone for Siren Grounds as the company continues its rapid growth and international expansion strategy. As part of the Great British Pitch programme, Siren Grounds was given the opportunity to present its business to international buyers and procurement decision-makers, including representatives exploring opportunities across India and broader government and institutional supply channels.

Launched by Small Business Britain and the Department for Business and Trade during International Trade Week, the Great British Pitch was created to help build a pipeline of export-ready British businesses by reducing barriers to international trade, increasing export knowledge, and opening doors to global opportunities.

Held at BT’s headquarters in London, the event brought together more than 100 ambitious UK small businesses, each given the opportunity to pitch directly to buyers from international markets including India, the United States, Singapore, Jordan, South America, and beyond.

For Siren Grounds, the opportunity represented a major step forward in its ambitions to become a globally recognised British coffee brand.

The company showcased its growing portfolio of premium coffee products, including its specialty instant coffee sachets, premium South American Arabica coffee blends, and innovative coffee solutions designed for retail, hospitality, workplace, travel, and foodservice sectors.

“Being invited to participate in the Great British Pitch and subsequently attend Downing Street to celebrate British exporting success is an incredible honour,” said Samanah Duran, Founder of Siren Grounds.

“The UK has some of the most innovative and ambitious small businesses in the world, and initiatives like this provide invaluable access to international buyers and strategic growth opportunities. We are particularly excited about the conversations taking place across international markets and the potential to bring Siren Grounds to new customers globally.”

The invitation to Downing Street highlights the growing recognition of small businesses as a critical driver of UK economic growth and export success. The event brings together entrepreneurs, policymakers, and trade leaders committed to strengthening Britain’s position in international markets.

As Siren Grounds continues to scale, the company is actively exploring opportunities across retail, hospitality, offices, transportation networks, airlines, and international distribution channels, with export growth forming a key pillar of its long-term strategy.

The recognition comes at a time of strong momentum for the brand, which recently completed its export readiness documentation and is preparing for further international market development.
