St James House PLC has announced the appointment of Richard Shearer as the Group’s Chief Executive Officer [CEO] and as an Executive Director of the company.
The founder of Dubai based established Family Office and investment firm, Tintra Holdings Ltd, Richard boasts extensive experience in working with emerging market clients, having built Tintra into a well-respected name in the sector amongst ultra-high-net-worth and high-profile families across Africa, the Middle East and Asia
Tintra advises a range of clients that include governments, sovereign funds, ruling families and high profile business families across a range of investment and family wealth verticals that include structuring solutions for complex cross-border taxation and investment issues, as well as sourcing and creating deal flow in Europe, the US and elsewhere. This has resulted in the arrangement of client investments across a range of sectors from real estate, hospitality, film, television and fintech.
In his role as CE0 of St James House PLC, Richard will combine Tintra and SJH create two businesses that leverage on each others strengths. The change management strategy that was announced at the end of April 2021 and announcements will be made by St James House PLC in the coming weeks that outline the business plan going forward.
Graeme Paton, the previous Chief Executive Officer of St James House, will remain as Executive Director and will focus on developing the Group’s activities in merchant acquiring.
