Tiny Tools for Big Feelings celebrates first birthday with New Brighton fundraiser

Tiny Tools For Big Feelings Turns One

A North West based organisation dedicated to helping children and families manage anxiety, ADHD and emotional overwhelm is celebrating its first birthday with a special fundraising event and is inviting the local community to come along and celebrate with them.

Tiny Tools for Big Feelings will mark its first year with a 1 Year Celebration Fundraiser on Saturday 24 October 2026 at New Brighton Cricket Club, with doors opening at 6.30pm.

The evening promises live music, an auction, raffle and plenty of opportunities to come together, celebrate the organisation’s first year and raise vital funds to support more children and families.

Founded by Carly Openshaw, who has spent more than a decade helping children and families build emotional resilience, Tiny Tools for Big Feelings was created around a simple belief: support should come before crisis.

In its first year, the organisation has already supported 256 children, 110 parents and carers, and 50 women, providing practical, trauma-informed support designed to reduce overwhelm and build emotional stability.

Reflecting on the last year Carly said:

“The first year of Tiny Tools for Big Feelings has been incredibly special. We’ve seen first hand how much difference the right tools and support can make to children, parents and families.

We wanted our first birthday to be more than just a celebration. We want it to be an opportunity to bring our community together, say thank you to everyone who has supported us and raise funds so we can continue reaching the children and families who need us.

There are still far too many children waiting years for mental health support. We believe children shouldn’t have to reach crisis point before they get the help they need. That’s why every ticket, every raffle ticket and every donation will make a real difference.”

The birthday fundraiser will be an opportunity for supporters to learn more about the work behind Tiny Tools for Big Feelings while enjoying an evening of live music, an auction and raffle, all while helping the organisation continue its work across the Wirral and beyond.

Tickets are now available for the Tiny Tools for Big Feelings 1 Year Celebration Fundraiser, taking place at New Brighton Cricket Club on Saturday 24 October 2026.

Whether you have worked with Tiny Tools for Big Feelings, supported the organisation, are a local business, a parent, or simply want to support an organisation making a difference to children and families, everyone is welcome.
