True Crime Expert David Swindle Adds Extra Glasgow Tickets After Sell-Out Demand

Suttie and Swindle

Following a surge in demand, extra tickets have been released for True Crime Live: Murder – A Search for the Truth with David Swindle, coming to Barras Art and Design, Glasgow, on Sunday 12 October from 1.30–3.30pm.

David Swindle, best known for leading the Operation Anagram investigation and bringing serial killer Peter Tobin to justice, delivers a powerful live talk about the realities of major crime investigations. With over 40 years of police experience, Swindle provides a rare insight into the detail, discipline, and emotion that sit behind real-life murder cases.

Joined by broadcaster and publicist Heather Suttie, the event strips away the drama to focus on the truth. Through open discussion, they explore how killers are profiled, how detectives deal with trauma, and what justice means to the families left behind.

“This isn’t about glorifying crime,” says Swindle. “It’s about facts, victims, and the long process of finding answers.”

Suttie says, “Audiences come to these shows for honesty. They want to understand what really goes on — the decisions, the emotions, and the mistakes that change lives forever.”

The conversation spans the Peter Tobin investigation, cold case developments, and wider questions about human psychology and the nature of evil. Each story is told with clarity and respect, keeping the victims at the centre.

True Crime Live: Murder – A Search for the Truth offers two hours of gripping, factual discussion for audiences who want to go beyond podcasts and documentaries to hear from those who’ve been on the front line.

Tickets £24 plus booking fee. Extra tickets are available now via Eventbrite.
