DLMDD, the specialist sonic branding agency, today announces the appointment of Wafee Rashid as Head of New Business & Partnerships, which marks a step change for the business as it continues its strong growth trajectory in the UK and internationally.

He will be responsible for driving business growth in new and existing sectors, building partnerships with brands and agencies and ensuring the best possible service is delivered for clients across the business.

Rashid was formerly Business Development Manager at Oliver Agency where he developed a unique sales approach and strategy, managing the full sales pipeline for verticals including Banking, Gambling and Gaming / Esports. He brings to DLMDD a wealth of experience in sales and business development, with strong commercial and interpersonal skills and a passion and deep appreciation for music.

With a background in branding and technology, Rashid has spent a number of years creating and writing music. Born to Bangladeshi parents, he grew up speaking English as a second language and credits his enthusiasm for music and the endless writing of lyrics for the significant improvement in his understanding of the English language. This provided the building blocks for carving out an established career in business development for world-leading brand consultancies.

His appointment by DLMDD comes as the business looks to accelerate growth, creating exciting business opportunities in new and existing sectors and attracting talent from the wider music and branding industries.
