LockerQuest parcel locker network grows to 1,020
Parcel locker location experts LockerQuest have seen their parcel locker network grow to 1,020 lockers, a 78% increase year on year.
The company grew its number of lockers from 574 at the end of its 2023-24 financial year to 1,020 at the end of 2024-25, as it celebrated its second anniversary.
LockerQuest helps business and property owners generate guaranteed recurring income by bringing lockers to unused or underutilised space and increasing customer footfall, managing the end-to-end process from surveys through to installation and providing ongoing account management.
The lockers offer convenient parcel drop-off and pick-up services for carriers and consumers in their local communities. With no cost to install or maintain, site hosts receive a guaranteed annual income, plus the potential for new customer footfall to generate additional sales and boost brand awareness.
LockerQuest has managed the implementation of lockers for 250 space partners across 870 locations, including shopping centres, convenience stores, retail parks, train stations, car parks, hotels, pubs and leisure centres.
LockerQuest CEO Jonathan White commented: “We have big ambitions to keep expanding our network of space partners as parcel lockers become more popular and parcel locker companies’ growth plans continue to rise. We are aiming to manage over 1,600 lockers by the end of 2025, with continued focus on retail, convenience stores, petrol forecourts and car parks.
“The team is already working on an additional 200 approved sites, which will see lockers installed in two to three months, and there are a further 300 going through approvals.
“The expansion of our locker network is testament to the benefits that both site hosts and parcel locker companies enjoy by partnering with LockerQuest.
“Our site hosts, known as space partners, receive an annual guaranteed rental income for each parcel locker installed, with no costs and no impact on day-to-day operations.
“Meanwhile, parcel locker companies benefit from our expertise in the commercialisation of space, with our knowledgeable and well-connected team driving the growth of their networks by skilfully sourcing and managing locations for them.”
LockerQuest’s space partners benefit from a single project approach, allowing multiple parcel locker brands to be installed at their sites using a single survey and approval process. LockerQuest can provide one licence agreement for multiple locations and multiple lockers and offer one line of communication for all lockers and a single payment solution. This makes it easy for space partners to continually develop their locations as parcel lockers increase throughout the UK.
LockerQuest space partner Forum CentreSpace Limited, which manages non-core revenue for over 100 shopping centres and retail parks across the UK, has installed parcel lockers at over 30 sites.
Account Director Caroline Al-Jumaili said: “We are really pleased with the parcel lockers. They give people another reason to visit shopping centres and spend more at the shops. We found the locker installation process really easy with LockerQuest as they carried out all the necessary surveys and safety checks for us.
“We don’t have to do anything to maintain the lockers, and we know that if we ever do need help, we have one simple contact at LockerQuest. We are looking forward to installing more lockers in the future as they grow increasingly popular with shoppers.”
LockerQuest commercialises unused and underutilised space through the installation of parcel lockers. Parcel lockers offer a convenient and secure way to receive and send packages, addressing common issues with traditional delivery methods. Customers can retrieve packages at their own pace, contributing to a more convenient and stress-free delivery and returns experience. The business is contracted by parcel locker companies to source and manage locations for their growing networks.
LockerQuest works with brands including YEEP!, Amazon, Shift Collect and Thinventory. A number of new locker partners are in current discussions to take advantage of LockerQuest’s growing list of space partner sites.
