Kelly Frith, Innovative Business Development and Katy Osborne, Kova Support

The Whately Hall Hotel is set to welcome the local business community on Thursday 15th September (16:30-19:00), for an afternoon/evening of informal networking, drinks, and canapés designed to help local businesses connect and build new collaborative relationships.

Hosted by K&K Uniting Connections, a partnership between local business owners Kelly Frith and Katy Osborne – after a successful exhibition in May, this follow-on event is set to continue the development of relationships and connect business owners across Banbury, Oxfordshire and beyond.

Early Bird tickets are currently on sale until 12th August and can be purchased from Eventbrite.

Explaining the motivation behind creating the event, Kelly and Katy said: “The business exhibition we held in May was expected to be a one-off event, however, after what was a successful exhibition, we were asked by many exhibitors and attendees when the next event would be taking place.  We saw the opportunity for a follow-up event from the exhibition to allow those who were unable to attend to come and meet with some of our exhibitors that participated in May”

Kelly and Katy are two highly driven entrepreneurs who help create opportunities for their attendees at events.  They are excited to have the support of two well-known businesses in the town as local sponsors: The Banbury & District Chamber of Commerce and Whitley Stimpson Accountants.

K&K Uniting Connections supported local children’s charity, Helen and Douglas Hospice, in May and they will again be joined by the charity to provide an update on what is happening at the hospice and any sponsorship events for the rest of the year.

Neil Wild, Chair of Banbury and District Chamber of Commerce, added: “The event in September is another great opportunity to bring people together and as the Banbury Chamber we love to support and encourage that.  We felt the energy in May at the Town Hall, and we want to see that happen again in September”

John Skinner, Senior Manager at Whitley Stimpson Accountants, added: “The event in May was so well attended and there was such a buzz that came from it that it felt natural to carry on the relationship”

Kelly and Katy were thrilled with the feedback response from exhibitors and attendees after their May exhibition and it seemed the natural progression to host a follow-on event.

Tickets can be booked via Eventbrite with Early Bird tickets on sale until 12th August at £28 plus Eventbrite fees.
