Peter Simson, Director at Tyron Runflat

Tyron Runflat, based at Castle Business Park in Loughborough, is set to represent the region on the international stage as it attends Eurosatory 2026, Europe’s leading defence and security event.

At a time of significant global developments in the sector, the company’s presence highlights the strength of local innovation and manufacturing expertise.

Tyron will showcase its latest innovations for the first time at the Paris show to a global audience. The team will be presenting its latest innovation, the lightest single-piece runflat and its discreet defence wheel in June.

Peter Simson, Director at Tyron Runflat, commented: “We’re very excited to be representing the best of UK engineering and relish any opportunity to meet face-to-face with key industry influencers, gain key sector insights and reinforce our international collaborations. Delegates from 93 countries are expected to attend, giving Tyron the perfect opportunity for collaboration and innovation.

“We have supported this sector for over 30 years and firmly believe in our mission to provide life-saving tyre safety solutions to those facing the dangers of war zones globally. We do what we can to support this important sector.”

Alongside other leading players, Tyron Runflat will be providing a unique insight into its tyre safety solutions, including its latest discrete defence wheel. Designed to hide its runflat capabilities, this wheel provides vehicle safety for those facing debris-strewn war zones.

Peter added, “In recent years, we’ve seen firsthand the developments across the defence industry through technical and technological innovations. Eurosatory is set to be bigger and better than ever before, with over 500 new products on show. We’re experiencing a pivotal time within the defence industry as the landscape is rapidly changing. From AI-driven warfare to cyber threats, strategic competition and the need for supply chain resilience, the defence industry as we know it is being reshaped. We believe 2026 is going to continue this evolution so we look forward to being in the heart of developments.”

Eurosatory 2026 offers Tyron a valuable opportunity to reinforce its strong connections within the defence sector, meeting with customers both existing and new. Tyron Runflat has made it its mission to provide industry-leading safety solutions, supporting the defence industry to keep vehicles moving and soldiers safe. The Tyron Bands lock the deflated tyres on the wheel, allowing the vehicle to keep moving to a place of safety.
