Umbraco Recognised in Leading Analyst Firm’s Overview of Enterprise CMS Market

Enterprise marketing teams are challenged to manage multiple sites while delivering personalised digital experiences

Open-source NET content management system (CMS) provider, Umbraco, has been named among the vendors in The Content Management Systems Landscape, Q4 2024, published by Forrester.

“The report highlights the value that CMS platforms deliver to enterprises as they grapple with managing multiple websites, apps, and marketing campaigns, while ensuring a uniform digital experience. The API management layer introduced in Umbraco 14 empowers enterprises to orchestrate and deliver brand-consistent content across all digital touchpoints,” comments, Mats Persson, Umbraco CEO.

The Umbraco CMS underpins hundreds of thousands of government, financial, retail and professional services websites around the world, with a strong presence in Europe, the UK and the US. The open-source core is actively supported by a quarter of a million developers, backed by a commercial organization, which provides support, training, and automated updates on Umbraco Cloud to a well-established global network of digital agency partners and clients.

Headless capabilities, incorporated in the core Umbraco CMS, decouple backend data storage and content editing functions from frontend experiences. This allows brands to swiftly create, orchestrate and deliver fresh content to multiple digital touchpoints, thereby reducing time to market, while ensuring a consistent brand experience across every interface.

The inclusion in The Content Management Systems Landscape, Q4 2024, follows closely on the news that Umbraco has acquired uMarketingSuite, which allows enterprise content teams and digital agencies to analyse first-party user data, apply A/B content variant testing, and personalise web content to increase engagement and conversion.

“We welcome Umbraco’s inclusion in the Forrester Content Management Systems Landscape Report,” said Mats Persson. “Our open-source CMS enables digital leaders to select and seamlessly integrate the most appropriate blend of products, allowing them to build and orchestrate personalized digital experiences, meet evolving business requirements, and speed their time to value.”

The Content Management Systems Landscape, Q4 2024, is available to Forrester subscribers, or for purchase.
