Courts Club, Stables Tavern and The Lawn Club Gear Up for a Summer full of Sport

With just a few weeks to go, excitement is well and truly building across Manchester – and sports fans are busy organising where to watch their teams this summer. 

Manchester’s social sports spot, Courts Club in St John’s, The Lawn Club in the heart of Spinningfields, and Stables Tavern are three prime picks to watch all the action. 

Courts Club – Summer of sport, brought to you by Aperol. 

With the biggest outdoor screen in the city, as well as a large indoor screen, you’re never far from the action at Courts Club, which will be getting fully immersed in the summer of sports with pre-match quizzes, Bocce ball competitions as well as Aperol’s half time and full time Aperidisco with DJs, Entertainment and giveaways. 

There are no table reservations – it’s first come, first served – but you will need to buy general admission tickets for all England group matches.

Spectators can stay fully-fuelled with Street food sharers from The Dugout, as well as plenty of Aperol to go around.

What’s more, with a huge stretch tent and outdoor heaters, Courts Club’s fanzone is ready in case the weather does take a turn for the worst.

Regulars will know The Lawn Club is one of the best places to watch all England matches in Manchester, and this summer is no exception. 

Whether you’re after an outdoor fan zone, a spot to watch England live, or just somewhere to spend a sunny match day with friends – this is it. 

With a large outdoor screen on the lawn and loads of screens inside, the atmosphere will be lively wherever you sit.

Stables Tavern

Soak up the atmosphere at Stables Tavern during every England game this summer. England matches will be shown across both rooms, front and back, so there’s always space to settle in properly – with the rest of the group stage evenings showing in the back room. No tickets, no bookings required, just walk in and get a round in.

With kickoffs at 9pm and 10pm, there’s plenty of time to get down to the Tavern to try out a selection of great beers, including rotating lines from local breweries and guest favourites. Sports fans can grab a seat outside on Grape Street while it’s still warm, order a pie and a pint, and head inside when the whistle goes.
