Digital agency Glass Atlas sets growth goal as new brand launched
Leading digital agency Space 48 and its sister companies, Bring Digital, Brave the Skies, and This is Digital – today officially launched an ambitious growth strategy under a new brand, Glass Atlas.
Based in Manchester, Foresight-backed Glass Atlas is targeting revenues exceeding £20 million through strong organic growth and strategic M&A.
Since Foresight’s initial investment in 2021, the company has grown from 45 people to 180, client numbers from 40 to 140 and revenues from £4 million to over £16 million as Space 48 acquired Brave the Skies, Bring Digital, and This is Digital, creating the Dark Matter Commerce collective in 2024.
The new agency group, Glass Atlas, combines deep expertise in performance marketing and commerce technology to help established brands solve complex challenges with clarity, craft and conviction. The unified structure aims to make it easier for clients to access a broader set of services, delivered seamlessly under one governance framework.
Backed by its position as a strategic partner for Shopify, BigCommerce, and Adobe Commerce, as well as a top-tier Google and Meta UK partner, Glass Atlas enters the market as one of the UK and Ireland’s leading digital agencies for transformation and growth. Glass Atlas’ services include integrated consultancy, commerce, and performance marketing that help leading retailers and brands reach new peaks in growth and transformation.
Its clients include leading retailers such as Footasylum, Richer Sounds, American Golf, GoShorty, The Grafton Group, and RNIB.
The launch sees founder Jon Woodall taking the role of CEO of Glass Atlas. Hannah Eames is appointed CFO, with Justin Young moving into his new role as Chief Commercial Officer.
Andy Mitchell will oversee the agency’s performance marketing services as Managing Partner, Performance Marketing. He will work alongside Demie Loizou, who also steps into his new role as Managing Partner.
Overseeing Glass Atlas’s commerce technology offering is Jake Smith, who takes the role of Managing Director, Commerce Technology. He is joined by Glass Atlas’s new Commercial Director for Commerce Technology, Stephen Kenealy, and Tom Robertshaw, who has been appointed as Innovation Director.
Jon Woodall, CEO of Glass Atlas, said: “Glass Atlas was born from a simple idea: businesses deserve a partner who can see the whole map and help them find the best route forward. By bringing together four brilliant agencies, we’ve created something greater than the sum of its parts.
“We’re here for the moments when the stakes are high and the path isn’t clear. With transparency at our core, our mission is to help established brands grow beyond what they thought possible; not just in numbers, but in maturity, resilience, and long-term value.”
Jon added: “We are ambitious and excited for the future. We see a big opportunity to become a digital powerhouse in the UK and Ireland, and will look selectively at further strategic acquisitions to deliver our growth mission.” Claire Alvarez, Partner at Foresight commented: “We are thrilled to support Jon and the team as Glass Atlas establishes itself as a market-leader in digital. Our ethos at Foresight is to Invest, Build and Grow with ambitious companies and leaders like Jon. “The business has been transformed since our initial investment in 2021 and has a clear strategy to become the digital agency of choice for transformation and growth. It’s particularly pleasing to see a Manchester company thriving, and we look to the future with confidence.”
