Recresco recently welcomed MP Justin madders to their glass recycling site at Ellesmere port. During his visit, which took place prior to the introduction of lockdown restrictions, Mr Madders was provided with a guided tour of the state of the art facility, which reprocesses glass into remelt and aggregate for end use throughout the UK and Europe. Mr Madders witnessed first-hand the meticulous operation of sorting and processing collected glass using the latest advanced technology.

Justin Madders MP said: “It was a great pleasure for me have the chance to visit the very impressive Recresco recycling facility at Ellesmere Port. I am delighted to see the developments at Recresco and witness a local business going from strength to strength during challenging times.

“Recresco’s recent purchase of the site and substantial investment in world leading glass sorting technology shows a real commitment to the area while opening future opportunities for local people.”
