The highly anticipated Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards sponsored by RNN Group and hosted by the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, are now open for nominations. Celebrating the outstanding achievements of businesses in the region, these awards recognise the contributions made by local companies across various sectors.
With the aim of acknowledging excellence, innovation, and success from businesses in Barnsley and Rotherham, the Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards have become a platform to showcase the accomplishments of members and businesses in the region. Now in its fourteenth year, the awards ceremony promises to be an extraordinary event highlighting the exceptional businesses driving Barnsley and Rotherham’s economy.
This year, the awards feature an exciting addition to the categories, the Sustainability Award, which acknowledges businesses that have demonstrated a strong commitment to environmental practices. This new category reflects the growing importance of sustainability in business operations and recognises companies that have made significant efforts to reduce their environmental impact while contributing positively to the local community.

Award categories are open to businesses of all sizes and sectors with a ‘S’ postcode within South Yorkshire, and to all companies who are members of Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce. Self-nominations are accepted, and individuals and organisations are encouraged to put forward deserving businesses that have made a significant impact in their respective categories.
The awards ceremony will be held Friday 3rd November 2023, at the Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham, bringing together businesses, members, and professionals for an evening of celebration and networking. The event will offer an opportunity to showcase the remarkable achievements of local businesses, as well as to foster collaboration and drive further growth within the region.
